You may have been with me on all the others - "Postcards From Belize" back in 1999 started the tradition. I began sending emails in 'group form' because there was simply no way to keep up with my correspondance. Since then there has been a different 'Postcard' nearly every year, one for every adventure.
Now, I have to tell you that, generally speaking, I hate the idea of sending out a group mailing. It seems impersonal. and, doing it this way (a blog) may seem even more so. However, I've decided to do my 'Postcards from San Miguel" in blog form because it will be a lot easier to include photos - and you know what they say about one picture being worth .... :-)
I will promise you this! I'll write back to anyone who emails me, or posts a comment on this blog! Promise. And, truly it's easy! Don't be intimidated. It turns out that I was wrong. You DO have to register, but it's a simple thing of picking a 'user name' and a password. They don't ask any personal information. Ten you can simply click on the tiny little 'comments' and type your note in the box. It will ask you to 'read' the secret coded letters, just to make certain you aren't a spammer.
Every time I add a new entry to the blog you'll get a short email note reminding you of the blog's website. All you need to do is click on it and presto you'll be here! It will be a lot faster than if you were downloading the photos via email.
So, let's use this as a 'practice' entry. Hit that 'comment' button right now and tell me you got the email and the link worked. Then tell me to go drink a Margarita for you! :-) I don't leave for Mexico for a week, but I'm getting excited and looking forward to sharing another adventure with YOU!
Un abrazo,
Nancy
